This is your normal, run-of-the-mill street electric box commonly in use today across the country. In San Diego, SDGE (San Diego Gas and Electric) does not object if community members decorate or paint them in such a fashion as to make them blend in with their surroundings. This particular box is located on the front lawn of SDFD Station 15 in Ocean Beach. I have attempted to identify the artist, but as is common in OB, the artist prefers to remain anonymous. Station 15 is located at the corner of Voltaire and Ebers Streets. It has recently been given a cosmetic face-lift by community members appreciative of the dedication of members that man the station.
