Bruce Lukaszewicz (BELphotos) > "A PEACE OF OCEAN BEACH" -- This stained glass peace sign was perched on this rock for eighteen months before it was taken down by thieves. The giant rock sits about seventy-five yards from the shore on Sunset Cliffs Boulevard in Ocean Beach, San Diego.

This photo was taken in June 2007. I remembered that I made this photo about six weeks after it was placed. I was reminded of the photo when I read that the artists, who still remain anonymous, created another piece and it has been set atop the Ocean Beach International Hostel. The artists, who call themselves the Peace Rockers, prefer the anonymity.

The peace sign was not the only object the artists have placed upon the rock. For more information go to: http://www.PeaceRocks.info

Bruce Lukaszewicz (BELphotos) > Me, at age minus 9 months... Several people have written to me lately asking when I was going to post some new photos. Well, I'm on this temporary assignment on the east coast and just in a rut lately. So I dug up one of my early childhood photos that I thought I would share with you.

Yep, that's me on the bottom. I was a good swimmer and was always very cordial to all the unfertilized eggs.

There is another story behind this photo. Several years ago, an editor friend of mine in the Reno area and I were sort of playing who had the best childhood photo. He would send me one, I would send him one. Well, he sent me one that showed him about 10 seconds out of the womb; I sent him this one. His reply was... you win.

Bruce Lukaszewicz (BELphotos) > US Mail Hydrant - This fire hydrant is not functional and sits outside... you guessed it, a firehouse.
Bruce Lukaszewicz (BELphotos) > If anyone out there has a clown phobia... here's tonights nightmare.
Bruce Lukaszewicz (BELphotos) > I made the photo on the left 10 years ago when the Ramtown Fire Company first installed this unique mailbox fire hydrant. Ten years later I happened to be driving by and they were replacing the old white box which had deteriorated somewhat due to the weather. I made it a point to drive by again a few days later... and here it is...very cool Ramtown Fire Co. I even had the chance to use the new barricade tape copyright.
Bruce Lukaszewicz (BELphotos) > BOO !!! - Something for your dreams tonight.
Bruce Lukaszewicz (BELphotos) > Apple Phasing - This photo, taken with Snap Pro X, is my contribution to abstract art. The cause of this phenomenon can be attributed to my broadband provider COMCAST, who decided to choke my connection during a recent Apple broadcast, rendering my broadcast unwatchable. Naturally, they denied any choking of the downstream. In fact there is probably no longer a record of my call, and you are not looking at this photo; ".... therefore Senator, I have no recollection of that incident".
Bruce Lukaszewicz (BELphotos) > This photo was taken at a festival and the dog was a little hyper from all of the people. This was the best shot of about 12, the rest he was just bouncing all over the place.
