Bruce Lukaszewicz (BELphotos) > This is Elmo the Magnificent. I made this photo on slide film in 1981 at a local children's zoo. I shot this with my three and four year old sons hanging on my legs - now that I think about it, they probably steadied the shot. I used either Ektachrome 64 or Kodachrome 64 slide film using my Nikon Ftn (circa 1970) with a 50mm 1.4 lens. I had it transferred digitally about 18 months ago with about 1000 other slides. The transfer was made by ScanCafe, and they restored it perfectly. The only post processing that I have done is to crop it and add the copyright. As I was perusing my libraries during the latest rain storm, I came across it and thought that I would share it with you.

I then waved frantically across the canyon for them to sit closer and pose, which they graciously did for me. The above composition is the result.

Bruce Lukaszewicz (BELphotos) > The itsy bitsy spider.... I lightly sprayed the web and by the time I pressed the remote the water dried up. This spider is no more than three quarters of an inch long.

Bruce Lukaszewicz (BELphotos) > BAMBI DID IT!!! - After 13 years of accident free travel, Bambi jumped in front of my pristine '96 Explorer today. I'm just happy that there was no mechanical damage, all plastic stuff and a small bend in the fender. I haven't posted a daily photo in a while and this will have to do for now. For those that are wondering, Bambi trotted off and flipped me the hoof as she left. The little b.......
