Taken on Interstate 40, while passing through Checotah, OK. Yep, that's the name of the road. Locals will tell you that it is an accurate description of that road when it rains.
I was trying out my "dash cam". I mounted my Canon PowerShot A720 IS to my Joby Gorillapod. Then wrapped the pod around the edge of the dash. It held pretty good in movie mode. However, when I switched back to stills, every time I touched it I had to re-wrap it around the dash.
I think for a "dash cam" one of those bean bags with the tripod screw would be more appropriate. Hey, when you're driving cross country trips you have to keep your self amused.
